their natural inner self-healing process encompassing self-compassion, emotional management, self
healing, self image, decision making and more. From her vast experience, Dr. Perlstein has found

experiences, including life’s ups and downs and daily living.

ABOUT KOL-BE

photo 5.JPG

KOL·BE is a therapeutic tool for use with individuals, couples, parents, families and groups. The human figure provides a separate entity on which to express inner emotions and sensations using materials of diverse colors and textures. From this perspective, it is possible to bring the experience with self empathy and curiosity, to receive new information and take the process forward.

The KOL·BE figure holds neither gender nor facial characteristics. It is made of a non-tearable plastic material which can repeatedly be drawn and written on, erased and changed during the process. The possibilities for self-expression with

KOL·BE are infinite and diverse: placing objects, materials, sentences on the figure, drawing and writing on the figure, and more.

In some processes, specific objects may represent symbols of an event, holding various qualities of body sensations. A large stone may represent a sense of heaviness, a feather the feeling of lightness, and so on. Offering materials of different size, color and texture opens up endless possibilities which the user innately knows to choose and use.

In a simple and effective way, KOL·BE enables people to connect to themselves, to bypass obstacles and barriers, to expand and to heal.

WHY KOL-BE?

Accessibility & Simplicity:  KOL-BE can be used at place any time as a resource tool for interactive work with adults and children,

Visualization:  KOL-BE invites processes for working with the inner world which is often unclear and unrevealed.  It invites movement from inner, non-verbal bodily sensations to something concrete.  Abstract innermost experiences can become tangibly visible, thereby creating new impressions and awareness

Creating Perspective & Distance:  KOL-BE enables the experience to be expressed as something separate.  In this sense, the experience now becomes an entity rather than something physically and emotionally identified with.  It can be observed and witnessed from various distances and angles, offering new perspective and information.

Non-Verbal Interaction:  KOL-BE acts as a mirror, creating a non-verbal interaction between the inner experience and the person engaged with it.  Opportunities to sense, exchange and interact with the experience invite new perspectives and understandings.  The shifts that often follow such insights can bring gentle inner expansion and healing.
